what we do

Arts & Minds exists to champion the vital role of creativity in promoting inclusion, recovery and mental wellbeing. We aim to:

  • develop the role of the arts in supporting recovery focused care and to promote mental wellbeing.
  • support individuals receiving health and social care services to access creative opportunities across Leeds.
  • increase public knowledge and understanding of mental health through the arts

We bring people together to share creativity, knowledge and resources so the arts can flourish in health and social care settings. The network is a multi-sector partnership open to everyone in Leeds with an interest in the role of the arts in health.  The network involves a wide range of people, including those with personal experience of receiving health services, carers, health and social care professionals, artists and many others. The Arts and Minds network was set up in 2003. Click here for more about us.

Arts & Minds tries to link up all the great work that is going on in Leeds around creativity and mental health. Contact us if you want more information.

Currently we are a small team.
