CREATIVE BITES WORKSHOPs

'Are you looking for new and creative ways to engage with service users or carers? Look no further! Arts and Minds Network is running a series of creative workshops for arts and minds members who facilitate groups. It's a great chance to find out about groups users can join, since workshops are being delivered by people who run groups such as Studio 3, 1 in 4, Survivor's Poetry, Mind Odyssey Open Mic, Hey Days etc. Don’t worry if you are not ‘arty’, no experience is needed, just willingness to have a go. Meet workers in the same boat as yourself and be inspired!

In 2007 Arts and Minds received funding from the Arts Council for a programme of arts activity that matched a number of art organisations (Artlink, Pyramid of Arts, Skippko and Shoestring Theatre) with statutory mental health and learning disability services. Adult Social Care also funded some research to evaluate the programme’s impact. Arts and Minds hope that this research will contribute to building the local evidence base for the arts and mental health, and support the case for developing this valuable work.  To see the research, click onto this link final report pdf
